The creature clicked an affectionate rattle, as it nuzzled against her cheek. Amenii laughed, as its prickly brow bobbed up and down. Or at least she was pretty sure that was its way of expressing affection.

‘Just wait until I show you to Nera, she’s going to be surprised.’
