Sick

‘Amenii, where are your clothes?’ Nera prompted finding her bunny lover curled up at the foot of the bed.

‘I’m wearing them.’ Came the groggy response.

‘Uh…’ Nera looked again just to be sure. ‘I don’t think you are.’

‘It’s because it’s cold.’

Nera more concerned now than confused placed a massive paw on Amenii’s forehead. ‘Then why are you burning up? What’s your temperature anyway?’

Amenii had no response to that.

‘Okay, you’re going to see the doctor. Now.’

And without protest, Nera wrapped her in a blanket and made off to with Amenii making feeble attempts to flee.

C.S. Notes: there is nothing worse than showing up sick to work, and then getting progressively sicker as the day goes on. And then having to work overtime when sick. And then coming home to find that there in no day quill or cough drops in the entire house. T.T
