At his insistence she had packed light leaving behind anything that may be considered out of place or unexplainable should the worst case scenario occur. Without the protection afforded by her employer, Sirse was left feeling naked as she walked down the street taking the long way to Gus’s home.

Oddly enough everything she needed could be fit into a single backpack and one medium sized roller bag. It was midevening by the time she arrived and rapped on the door. No response, debating Sirse looked at her phone and considered calling. He was probably out attending to business and she did not expect him to be there twenty four seven.

Rolling her bag to the doorstep she took a seat and waited. After several hours of waiting Sirse found her patience beginning to wane. She was slipping, she had done longer operations before. Eyes turning to the door she wondered how angry he would be, he had not offered her a formal invitation, though he had brought her here several times before. He had never offered her a key though, that thought kept her on the porch.

She would wait. Even if it took him all day to arrive, she would be here.
